Michael Maher Realty needed a character logo called "Uncle Smiley" for their "I Want You To Stop Renting!" advertising campaign. They were thinking of a character fashioned after the famous Uncle Sam recruiting image of WWI, encouraging everyone to buy homes from Michael Maher Realty. The character had to be in patriotic colors and with the 3D head.

They wanted their logo to be similar to the logos of world leaders in computer industry, such as IBM, Oracle, and DELL It had to be very simple, using only fonts without any graphics, but at the same time memorable and recognizable from the first moment.

The Center Stage Cafe is a restaurant in Cape Cod in MA, located on the grounds of the Cape Playhouse, the oldest professional summer theater in the country. They serve gourmet pizzas, salads, grilled sandwiches, and feature a variety of desserts, coffee, chocolate drinks, and fruit smoothies. Exceptional food and service, and romantic atmosphere with all the nostalgic traditions of Cape Playhouse make the restaurant a great place to visit for dessert and coffee after theater.
Center Stage Cafe required a simple and stylish logo, possibly nostalgic or retro. They decided to tie in to the theater theme, something with stars, or a curtain and stage, or both. They also wanted the logo to be whimsical, but not too cartoonish, using burgundy, gold or silver.

Precision Escrow's personnel are proficient in every aspect of the escrow process from coordination of insurance converge to collection and disbursement of all money.
Precision Escrow wanted their identity both elegant and sophisticated, and at the same time simple and modern. It had to project the professionalism and precision to win trust of sellers, buyers, real estate agents, mortgage companies and banks. They wanted something that plays with the letters (i.e. P & E) and with special color effects, but with minimal number of colors.

Damage Control is a Malaysian company, specializing in cleaning electronic equipment after accidents like fire and flood. Being sophisticated cleaners they restore and recover electronic, high-tech equipment contaminated in the result of accidents.
Damage Control wanted their logo giving an immediate impression of what the company does. They suggested a few ideas, such as a 3D computer chip with their initials DC on it, and an image of water morphing into flames combined with the words Damage Control. They were open to multi-colored design, but have chosen blue as a dominant color.
