Since the company name is Singletree Technologies, they wanted the logo design to reflect an earthy or country feel, while projecting professional and stable image. Singletree wanted a simple, elegant, well engineered, and thought out design, without swooshes or effects that many technology companies are using today in their logos. The company is based in South Mississippi and they were thinking of using in their logo the long leaf pines growing in this area.
